I received word the other day that I will be funded about $800 for my comic project. I'm still awaiting answer from a second organization, but at least it'll help a lot - it won't cover all the costs, but I'm determined enough to pay up to everything out of my own pocket, if I have to, anyway. Sadly, considering my current financial situation(student), that would mean it might take longer to have it released. But $800 would surely mean a month less, if that'll be the case.

So, I'm working hard, trying to finish the comic as soon as possible. Norwegian release only, though, in case anyone wondered.

Update: Things are coming along nicely with the current project. Also, I'll be starting another comic project after this is done. I'll be working together with a friend of mine( [link] ) who's aspiring to be a writer. He'll be writing the manuscript, and I'll be drawing the comic. We'll be trying for something a bit longer running.

We're currently in the early stages of coming up with the story, but the basics are coming along. We've been discussing over the internet(serious business!), and I've done a couple of idea sketches when I haven't been working on my current horror comic, but he'll come visit in a few days, so we can get most of the basics around the story and characters done! I'm really looking forward to that, and working on the new project. I won't be starting to draw that one before I've finished the current project, mind you.
